Celebration

I was with a roommate I half liked half hated and she told me of a custom from her home where if someone had a birthday then they would sit in a chair in the middle of a field and a group of people would dance around them and make music/sing and put on a show. We watched someone go on first and she had a huge spectacle. She sat on a drum and people flipped off it, creating music. They had costumes and everything. Being that well we were poor mine was to be smaller but I was happy with that. My friend from high school even showed up. After my roommates family performed he performed with my former marching band mates a small show that he organized. It was amazing
