New soup kitchen and a little person asking if she's gotten shorter

My mom and I went to some new soup place?? It was terrible? They gave us menus and told us to pick what we wanted to eat before we were even seated, so I was rushing. There were supposed to be a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, but I barely saw any and I asked her, but she didn't even make any sense. I got something called "terrible cheese"? And then some vegan dessert. My mom busted out crying out of nowhere?? I was embarrassed and she started saying her life sob story and I told her no one wanted to hear it and to shut up. I don't think it was me but the person I was in the pov of was on a date with a little person?? They went to dance but I mean... that was impossible. She left and the little woman was sad and posted on Facebook "have I gotten shorter?"
