I'm at a party with my mom (who has passed away) and it is night. It is a beautiful night. There is another woman with her, of similar age, but a person the other guests do not like. My mom does not mind her. Mom finds her to be good company. The party is decorated with my lights and crystal. The place has high ceilings like a cathedral, though not quite so high. It is the same though, from a proportional standpoint. My mom takes me to her place. It is small and cluttered, like her house was when she was alive. The layout is different. The house is on top of a high mountain, and it's rainy and the leaves of the trees are changing to red. The hillsides are steep, but she says not to worry about that. She is looking for something, but can't find it. She decides to take us to Walmart. This Walmart doesn't look like one I've seen in real life before. I decide that the Walmart needs clocks. I climb up a shelf and hang one up, put one somewhere else in the store. I am avoiding mom, because I know she wants to play matchmaker. I have a strong feeling that it is flooding outside. When I find mom and her friend, they are circled around a shopping cart. The cashier is with them. They keep trying to tell me that it is Gabriel, but I know that isn't right. He looks similar, but doesn't feel right. He is helping them with something. I feel that I could have helped with this. It is 10 minutes til 8. His shift is almost over. He stretches and removes his jacket. I notice that it is tan and not blue. He lays the jacket across the cart and continues helping. He points out the clocks. "I don't know who is putting those up, but I'm glad. I almost admit to it, but decide against it. He leans in to tell me, "if you need help with this up front, call me, and I will help you. I'm done with my shift, but I will take it out to your car for you. No problem." He walks into the workers only area of the store. I look down and see that his vest is still on the cart. I turn around and know there is no way I can get it to him now. Mom tells me we should leave it up front for him. I agree that it is the best plan. But we forget. We get up to the mountain and back to moms house before I notice. The vest is in a bag with our other stuff. Mom laughs, as she has been doing the entire dream. I fall asleep using the vest as a pillow. I wake up and see the water, gray and full of matter is getting in her house. I look at the ID, on the front it says "Gabriel" but on the back it says "Daniel Yeoccy". The last name was hard to read. I'm sure I'm not remembering it right. There is some glue stuck on the e and o that I had to scrape away before I could make it out. There's other stuff. A letter folded up (gray card stock), but I don't investigate. I don't want to pry. It's from a girl, a blonde girl with long, straight, blonde hair. She is quite beautiful. He keeps this as a memento because he and she are no longer together. There is also a picture of a pool with red flecks in it. Maybe it is an ocean, really clear. These are odd things to attach to a name badge. There is another picture, one of Gabriel with two friends. One is taller with long, straight hair. I figure this guy is a musician. I can't remember the other guys appearance. I decide I have to take it back myself. Mom tells me it will take hours if I walk. I don't care. I nearly fall into a ditch and know I'll be soaked when I arrive, but I don't care. He needs this.
