Missing Invoice Numbers

Took my mum to a hardware store to pick new sign posts for my cousin's school which burnt down. We are delayed because she has half the receipt number. Says she saved the number on the phone but half of it is gone. I check her phone to confirm that the message is truly not there. I intervene with the shop owner, convincing him to let her have the signposts anyway. We find that my cousin has not yet left for home as instructed because she needed to see the signposts first.
