I was playing a new massive expansion of Skyrim, or it might’ve been an all new Elder Scrolls game. I was walking around a small village on the top of a mountain. There was a beggar playing some nice music. I found a corpse on the ground in the middle of the village and went to loot it. I accidentally clicked on a scimitar I saw on the ground. I heard a guard get angry and when I exited the menu, there was a guard bending over to pick up his scimitar. I then had to run away and escape the village. The game had some nice parkour mechanics and I was able to jump onto the rooftops to escape. I ran all the way to the base of the mountain and kept running until I found myself in a little dingy room with streaks of brown all around it. I threw myself into a corner of the room and waited. There were a few year 7s in the room and they were playing with a strange valve that shot out brown water with full force. In my corner, I could still see a slim section of the outside world and I knew that if the guards came by and looked in the right direction I’d be found. After I believed the coast was clear I head back to the town atop the mountain. It turned out I still had a bounty on me so I snuck out without being noticed this time by clinging to the rooftops. I head to another village at the bottom of the mountain. From the rooftops, I noticed that I was still considered to be in a hostile region. I figured I’d just pay off my bounty so I jumped down and confronted two guards. When they said they’d arrest me, a quest option came up. I selected it and my character (who I think was a robed Khajit) pulled out a jade frog and said “A very powerful man gave me this trinket. If you help me you may receive his assistance too.”
