So there's this bridge over an old canal near my house. It's little and green and theres a little concrete bit underneath that lets you go and sit by the water if you don't mind dirt or spiders. The bridge in my dream was obviously supposed to be this bridge, over it crossed right over the middle of a super wide lake, meaning it was extremely long. Also in the dream it was made of light coloured wood. I was standing on this bridge with what seemed like everyone I knew, including a small group consisting of my cousins from my dad's side. For some reason I chose to attatch myself to this group, even though they're really anti-social and tend to take the piss out of everyone else at any given social gathering, so they don't tend to be very popular. After sitting with them a short amount of time it became clear that they had no intentions of having any fun and instead were sitting at the top of the steps leading to the bridge, not really talking and looking at me like I wasn't supposed to be there. As I stood up to leave, I saw my bad decision meant all the good teams were already setting off on their boats from the little dock that had appeared by the bridge. First comers had managed to snag speed boats and I could see girls in bikinis clinging to shortless boys' shoulders and screaming with joy. Rob had just taken out the last speed boat and now there were just rowboats left, but even they were filling up quick. I hurried down the steps, seeing Pooch looking worriedly at the rowing boats. I ran to him and clung to his shoulder flirtily, hoping I could seduce him into getting a boat with me. "Come on, Poochie, won't you get in a boat with me?" I simpered, eyeing up the boats. There were still some of the bigger row boats left and not much of a queue now, but I still didn't fancy getting stuck with one of the skinny ones that had you sitting inches above the water. "Nope." Pooch shook his head, looking scared. "Please? Not even one of the big ones?" "No way man!"
