I'm hanging with friends; and, the owner of a restaurant who I know really well in the dream, asks me if I want the rest of some fried chicken tenders that she was going to throw away. She explains to me that the restaurant is shutting down ; and today is the last day. She doesn't want to throw food away. I tell her yes; but, I will be right back to pick them up because I have something to do quickly. I arrive back to find out that my friends got the tenders from her and have been eating them without telling me. I see one friend with the last tender that he bitten off of; I didn't care. I took it from him.

AI generated interpretation In your dream, the theme of tenderheartedness is highlighted through several symbolic elements. The restaurant owner represents a figure of familiarity and connection, someone who you know well. This person's offer to give you leftover food reflects a sense of generosity and concern for waste. The shutting down of the restaurant signifies a significant change or ending in your life. Your decision to accept the offer but leave momentarily suggests that you may have other pressing matters or responsibilities to attend to. This could indicate a busy or distracted state in your waking life, where you may feel pulled in different directions. Upon returning, you discover that your friends have already taken and consumed the chicken tenders without informing you. This could indicate a feeling of being left out or overlooked in some aspect of your life. It may suggest that others have taken something valuable or significant without considering your feelings or involvement. This could be related to a situation where you may feel ignored, disregarded, or unappreciated. However, despite feeling overlooked, you exhibited an assertive response by taking the last tender from your friend. This action portrays a desire to reclaim what is rightfully yours, displaying a sense of self-advocacy and a refusal to be taken advantage of. Overall, this dream may reflect your emotional need for recognition and consideration from those around you.
