The setting was in a utopian city, where I was the protagonist. In the dream, our family lived in a one-way bulletproof glass pyramid in a gated residential, with green grasses and tall trees and those corny-but-cute white picket fence. Everyday, we would open the sun shields at the very top of the pyramid to let in the natural morning light; and at night, the shields might be left open so that our family could gaze upon the night stars. I studied at the Academy of The Gifted, where only students in possession of supernatural powers could be admitted. Although I was an outstanding student in all of my Superpowers classes, I was lacking behind in other subjects. One day, my family decided to ask my neighbours to have their Eurasian son come over as a tutor for my studies. His name was Evan, and we were friends with each other since we were little kids, amd we would always play hide and seek with the other kids, only this time, we'd use transmutation, invisibility and divination in order to hide ourselves from them. We both knew, at a very young age, that the powers that we have means that we were different, that we were capable of creating beauty and destruction all at once with just a snap of our fingers. We developed a pure friendship at the age of 6, and then it started to blossom into something else when we were 12 ; but that didn't last long. It was just "puppy love" all along. Overtime, we grew apart, and both had different friends, different tastes, different minsets; we just differ from one-another. We were 16-years-old, with hopes and dreams of our own. I became an indoor-loving introvert with a deep, strong passion about withcraft, the studies of the Anti-Christ, and practicing on improving my powers; while he became a nerd-jock, if those people even exist, who couldn't care less if he couldn't find our headmaster's extremely prestigious Montblanc pen somewhere in the corner of the hallway. He was always hyperactive, like a puppy; and if he wasn't, then we would rather be focusing on reading the LOTR's trilogy than trying to move it across the room with his given powers. He studied in the same classes as I did, and was one of those guys that seemed to be good at almost everything. Even though we were childhood friends, amd it would be awkward for me to admit, but he was handsome, in a unique, fresh, and effortless way; the kind of beauty that only runway models could acqire. He was not too tall, around 5ft9", with dark brown hair and dreamy brown eyes that emit warmth and kindness. He had chiseled cheekbones and jawline; and strong, yet delicate, facial features, the result of having a Belgian mother and a Mexican-Phillipino father. He was the best student in all fundamental subjects, and the captain of the school's football team; plus, all of the girls unanimously agreed that he had major sex-appeal. The only thing that he struggled with was with Superpowers. So we made a deal: we would both teach each other the things that we're good at, so that we'd both be good at everything. It was tough at first, trying to teach each other what we know. We'd feel defeated at times, but would always find a way to motivate one-another. Sometimes, we'd take a walk into the woods behind our houses as a form of de-stress, looked at the trees gently swaying in the cool breeze as we sat on an old rock, gazing upon the crystal clear lake, surround by the old oak trees that stood the test of time. The lake was our hiding spot when we were little, and every time we sit there, we would feel the nostalgia rushing back, replaying memories of us two laughing at the most trivial things in life. We found each other becoming friends again, when we would always find a reason to hang out with each other: whether it be playing a friendly game of football; or having a night-in, watching clips of the chilling exorcisms of people in 1969. We would always walk side by side to class in the hallway, discussing all the things that we could think of. And when we're not around, he'd send me recipes for a new spell; whether it be a simple spell, like pyrokinesis, or something harder, like vitalis vitalium. I never knew that he would take his time to research and send all these spells to me.
