Working with Dog

I was doing some sort of inspection for work and I had my dog Tommy with me who normally barks at everyone very obnoxiously. But Tommy was completely quiet during the inspections and was friendly with all the people and other dogs we encountered. Strangely, my work partner said that I was not handling Tommy well and no wonder he was acting badly. I said this dog has no training or discipline and I’m just glad he’s not barking at anyone.
