short but scary

this one was pretty short but still pretty scary. me and a friend of mine were heading back to my house and we saw a house on the end of my block that had police tape all around it. i jokingly said “oh who got murdered this time?” because, even though i actually live in a nice neighborhood, there have been a couple murders over the last 10 years. as we got closer to my house, we kept seeing more houses with more police tape around them and i was getting worried. i saw my next-door-neighbor’s house also had tape and i got super scared. then we pulled up to my house and it had tape too. i started to freak out and then my dad walked out of the front door. he said it was the murderer who killed himself on our front lawn.
