Used a stranger’s lotion?

I was in the restaurant that I work at and I was looking for a table. Once I found the one that I wanted, I noticed there was a purse on the seat. That didn’t stop me. For some reason, I dug through it before I moved it and found some glittery lotion from bath and body works. I dumped a bunch into my hand and rubbed it around, all the way up my arms until I was covered in glitter. The lady at the table next to me told me that was her purse, so I handed it to her and told her I used her lotion, expecting her to be okay with it. She wasn’t. She gave me a look and said, “Why did you do that?” I honestly didn’t know. She was really upset about it so I told her I would just buy her a new one and she was alright with that. I looked down at my hands and admired the silver glitter all over them, very pleased with myself and not bothered at all by what I had just done.
