Sandwich Scam

I worked at a sandwich shop one of my coworkers was helping a customer. They wrapped up their transaction and the customer leaves. My other coworker out of nowhere started laughing hysterically. We looked at him and asked him what was so funny. He told us that the customer handed our coworker a fake $5 bill and our coworker didn’t even notice. So my other coworker opens the register to look at the $5 bill the customer gave him and he stared at it in disbelief. I take a look at the money and it’s obviously a fake plastic $5 bill so I join my coworker in laughing.
