I was at my old elementary school. There was this cemented area with a roof and supports. I’m not really sure how to explain it, it was like that area you’d go to when you’re going to find your bus. Anyway, it was surrounded by huge pools. They were all empty. There was a crowd of people waiting with me, and I was standing near the railing that separated the cemented area from the grassy area. Some kids were running out of the school and cheering, it felt like a pep rally. They were all in swimsuits. I recognized a few of them; they were really close friends I had in my childhood. They came over and were hugging people over the railing, but I backed away. I started to walk off but Megan(childhood friend/neighbor) put her arm around me. One of my fingers got caught under her armpit and I felt a lot of armpit hair? I just left it until she let go of me. Later on, I was standing at the railing staring into one of the pools. I felt really sad for some reason. I kept thinking that people always leave me. There was a friend next to me who saw that I was sad and started singing a song, but I just wanted to get away from him. My mood suddenly changed, and I said that I wanted to jump into the pool. There were other people in the pool now, everyone was jumping around and yelling, but in a good way. But it looked like the water was evaporating, almost? Like it was being sucked away.
AI generated interpretation The dream appears to symbolize different aspects of your life and emotions. Being in your old elementary school suggests a desire to revisit past memories or experiences, perhaps reliving the carefree and joyful moments of childhood. The empty swimming pools are a representation of unfulfilled desires or a lack of excitement in your waking life, causing you to feel unaccomplished or unfulfilled. The cheerleading kids in swimsuits can indicate a sense of belonging and a desire for acceptance, especially from those who used to be close to you. However, the discomfort you felt when Megan put her arm around you and the sensation of her armpit hair caught under your finger can imply a fear of intimacy or discomfort with physical touch. Your sadness while looking into the pool and thinking about people leaving you suggests a fear of abandonment, stemming perhaps from past experiences or relationships. The friend who tried to cheer you up singing a song shows a positive aspect of having support and someone who cares for you. It is worth noting that you rebuffed the friend's attempt to help, indicating a sense of wanting to carry your burdens alone. The water evaporating or being sucked away may represent a fear of losing something, whether it's a person, a relationship, or an opportunity. This fear could stem from past traumatic experiences or uncertainties about your future. Overall, this dream suggests you may be grappling with feelings of insecurity, a desire for acceptance, and a fear of abandonment. It may be helpful to explore these emotions further and find ways to address them in your waking life.
