Murder in the Mansion

We were in another mansion, a group of us, equipped with guns and gathered together, looking for something. Apparently there was danger here, but the bright colours and wide open spaces didn't do a good job at making it sinister. Eventually we stumbled across a courtroom, brimming with people halfway through a trial. They pinpointed a boy in our group, implicating him somehow in a murder that had taken place there. The boy was lanky with ginger hair that reached his chin in a smooth bowl around his head. He was pale and freckly and looked afraid. The court deemed he should be a witness and called him to the stand. But as he was climbing the steps, taking off his olive overcoat to reveal a fitting suit and shiny waistcoat, he tripped, dropping several excercise books and his coat in the process. The court erupted into laughter as they watched him scramble to pick up his dropped items.
