music and sunlight

you’ll never guess what i dreamed about last night. the same guy that i’ve dreamt of for the past month. wow, i know, my brain is really creative!! - i have never been to a place as beautiful as this one. a field, flooded with wildflowers, golden sunlight spilling in between the spaces in the treetops. beautiful music danced in the air, quietly, but still there. there was a boy laying on a checkered blanket, reading ‘life of pi’ and wearing a star wars shirt. he looked up from his book with the most stunning half-smile i’ve ever seen. the peachy light illuminated his features softly, almost as though he was an angel. which, in my opinion, he is. we didn’t talk, he just kept reading. i rested my head on his shoulder and read along with him. we were sitting quietly, surrounded by the gorgeous scenery, the quiet music being the only sound. his breathing quickened slightly as he turned his head to face me. “i love you,” he whispered. and i swear, my heart skipped a beat. “i love you too.” the sun had set and replaced with the gentle glow of the stars, and the pale light of the moon. - aaaaa my dreams have been treating me good lately lmao
