One dose of Benadryl and I can't even stay awake in my dreams

I had to take a Benadryl for an allergic reaction yesterday and it knocked me out. I dreamt I was lying with my head on the white rail of a wooden deck with the rest of me floating in the air over the deck. I was on the rail furthest out with woods around me and the ground maybe a story below. Right next to me on the corner of the rail there was some sort of animal spirit I couldn't make out, maybe a cat, where my black cat often sits at my parents' house on their deck irl, but theirs doesn't have any woods around it. It was trying to talk to me and get me to wake up and do something, but I was way too tired. I just kept rolling over and going back to sleep. Then my mom, not my real life mom but a different mom, was calling me from inside, but I was too sleepy to answer her; the air I was sleeping on and deck rail I was using as a pillow were wayyy too comfortable. Zzzzz
