This dream flows sequentially and is long. I was in college or high school, it was a prep school maybe. Some fancy thing. It was ending however, everyone was leaving and starting their lives. I had a group of friends, we hung out together. Bitched about our home lives. I think we had slipped off into boy girl pairs, and the boys were gay so the dynamic was great. I remember me and my friends laughing and planning our future, teasing about how we, my best friend and me, were going to get married become rock stars and have a kid named Mordant. In fact the vision of this event was rather sad because it showed Mordant all alone being around heavy metal dudes who didn't make good nannies, and us a million miles away doing some concert. Anyway, this group of friends and me we all lived so near the school it was running distance. There were Woods, a forest really, nearby and it took until the end of the dream to orient but the school was basically just behind my house. I never saw my house in the dream, just the school, and the woods, the lake at midnight always on a full moon where we chilled and hung out. And the inside of the school. I baked chocolate muffins, it was encouraged(required) by the school I donate a bake sale item. It was a party, a leaving school for good, Christmas party. I had been putting little Gothic magnets all over my mini fridge. Kids were getting drunk, making plans, I was feeling left out. Very left out. And also as if no one liked me. A friend or mine, or some random roommate was drunk and somehow when I touched him/her I felt drunk too. I tried to help the mate to a bed, but instead I started raving about things which had made me mad for years. I yelled at people and went a little crazy. My group of friends excused me, saying I was drunk and the party wound down. Then ended. And everyone left. I was left to go upstairs to my apartment/dorm. It was on floor 7, the rest of the house I lived in was connected to the college, it was a in very nice college, I didn't realize but the college was on the upper floors, and somehow you could leave that way. The entrance was there, but the one I had always used was just down a single flight of stairs from my floor. I got the urge to go outside and smoke, but really I wanted to go out to the lake, star at the moonlight, and feel sorry for myself. However on the way down the stairs a girl on the floor above me, some nerdy unkempt person, warned me we weren't supposed to be in the common room when school was out, or use that entrance. We were supposed to go up the stairs and through the school the the main entrance. It was like walking through an entire museum just to get out of the building and I just laughed at her and shook my head. I wasn't going to listen. Plus I was hungry, I wanted one of the chocolate muffins I had made, nobody had eaten them, and they were still downstairs. Also some upperclassmen had made a chocolate cake, only three pieces were gone, and I wanted some. I hate chocolate cake but I was hoping this one would be good. But the moment I got off the stairs the alarm sounded. It was crazy loud, I tried to find the cake and muffins quickly through the din but they were gone. I didn't even get outside I just ran up the stairs back to my room, but got lost. All the floors looked the same, same gaudy poncy decorations. And I ended up going too far, up to floor 9. It turned out to be a bad idea because the nerdy unkept girl from before came up the stairs after me, holding a nail gun, putting nails into it which were easily six inches long, she obviously intended it as a weapon, but she was shaking too badly to use it, the nails kept falling out. I jumped out quickly before she could legitimately load it. Told her it was me. She calmed down, sorta, but suddenly professors showed up, dozens of familiar faces. Even the Dean came. She was old and grey but she was in charge and demanded to know what was going on. I told her I got very lost and fibbed saying I left the building to get something to eat and had trouble getting back in. She asked how long had I been going to this school, living in this dorm, that I could get lost so easily. I said over a year now, like 13 months and then remembered suddenly and said I had been living in a different dorm for about four months first tho. She and the professors relocated from the hallway to my apartment, where I was corrected further on the etiquette while students were away. The Dean said again I had to use the main entrance and i exclaimed incredulous how was I to carry groceries that far. It was a terribly climb of stairs to begin with just using this entrance, never mind that the door to outside actually let out on the sixth floor, I don't think the laws of natural building came into effect here. Anyway I sorta retold the experience laughing in relief to the group of them, about the nerdy unkempt girl and the nail gun who was now sitting on my sofa, heart pounding from her scare, trying to catch her breath. We all had a good laugh. But they still decided to call the police on me, said it was comforting to the people, I got the impression it was the student body they were trying to impress. The empty student body. I think the police were called automatically by the alarm, but they didn't cancel it, just waited for them to arrive. Anyway I was upset that I felt so uninvited to live where I was obviously arranged to live. It felt like I wasn't wanted. And dude, who'd want to live there anyway. It was pretentious but I think I had been kicked out of my home. Nothing actually happened in the dream indicating that but given me, the living situation, and they way they treated me. Anyway I had also been collecting my mail, I had ordered Christmas presents. The nerdy unkempt girl was looking up something in my living room, something pertaining to the situation. There was a book there half and again the size of a twin mattress. It was massive enough to be a low coffee table. She opened it and it was a dictionary. I opened one of my packages, which was also massive actually, but really were just drumsticks, and all their accouterments. (I don't know anything about drums so I think everything included weren't exactly necessary) I pulled out the actuall drumsticks, which were whip thin things awaiting a handle to be put on, which was still inside the package with every thing else. I was amazed at the quality, for what I had paid I had gotten a highly expensive set. I snapped the drum sticks together to test the sound and they released this glitter into the air in front of me, as it had come off their polished and varnished bodies to hang right there like part of the air. I could see every individual piece of glitter, all uniform and long, kinda rectangle where as most glitter is square. I was amazed by the sight, humbled even. I imagined I was perhaps a bit special because I could see it. At the end the Dean decided to allow me to use the entrance at the bottom of the stairs.
