I was at my school’s Christmas parade with my family and there were dancers, and floats. I remember seeing a reggae Santa Clause dancing and giving candy to children. The next day, I arrived to class a little late and the professor excused me of my absence, however as he was going through the course syllabus, I noticed that some of his rules were a bit off. After class, I went to the professor so that he could meet my parents, but to our shock and horror—he was proudly gay! “You’re dropping this class right!” My mom said hotly. “Está es una abominación!” My dad added indignantly as we left campus. “I was beginning to like him.” Gary added.
