Puppy mystery

My dog was in her play pen and I was on the couch doing something in my phone. My mom said she was going to go blow dry her feet and to get her if I needed anything. Shortly after my dog yelps and I see a weird worm looking thing coming from her head. I say "oh my gosh" and go to my moms bedroom door and start beating on it. Se says "what do you need? What happened?" I say "something's wrong with Pixel (the dog)" she says "oh ok, is it urgent?" I say yes. Ten she asks "can it wait?" And then I woke up.
