I vaguely remember talking with some friends from high school. We were at the back of the H&R Block building from my home town, talking about school. Garrett was there, he seemed enthused about getting to graduate again. He had a very different demeanor than his usual "doesn't care" attitude, and seemed like the straight A student now. We went into the main area of the building and made our way to the front door. Most of the lights were out, however, a strange white door stood in the middle of the room, lit up by a small overhead light. Garrett walks through the white door, closes it, turns around and kisses the door before saying that he's glad to finally be done. We walk out into the parking lot. It's afternoon, and the entirety of my home town seems totally empty and devoid of humans. Garrett asks if I'm going to the ceremony, which (though I assumed was a graduation) I had a feeling was a parade. I told him that I probably would, but that I needed to shower first. He said alright and left. I realized that I wasn't required to go, so I took my time. Going back into the building I see a woman crying as she looks at old photos. Upon closer inspection, I notice that they were graduation photos. I thought about asking how many times she'd graduated, but didn't as to not appear rude. I conversed with her briefly about the graduation. She said she was tired so I offered to let her use one of our guest beds at home. We were suddenly in my Grandparents' guest bedroom, affectionately named, the "big red bed room". I told her she could rest here for now. She said thank you and proceeded to pull out this strange device that looked like a fat, curved tube with little mechanical legs, she put the device up to my face and the mechanical legs firmly latch onto the sides of my head. The woman's demeanor has changed and her intentions now seem sinister. The curved tube contains an unknown blue liquid. The device seems to be forcibly positioning my head to drink the liquid. I fight with it for a while as the woman speaks in calm tones, rambling about the fluid, though I don't recall anything she said. I struggle with the device as the lights in the room slowly begin to die out. As the room grew pitch black. The fluid tips forward, but instead of drinking it, I just remember breathing in a cool, stinging, menthol flavored gas. I wake up to find the woman gone and a shirtless man standing in the room. I converse with the man before a watch on the bed starts beeping. The man looks at it nervously, before I realize that he is actually the woman in disguise. The dream cuts to me driving through a somehow unfamiliar version of my hometown. I proceed into a very rural area. Very mountainous and grassy. Partially swamp like. I proceed on the dirt road as a 3-D animated deer runs alongside me. The movement of its legs does not match the speed at which it's moving. The deer speeds off and I arrive at a run down boat shack. The shack is open on both ends, and five people sit inside. Three modern looking young teenagers, an old man, and a young woman in the loft. I walk up to the old man, he asks what I'm doing here, I say "I heard you've got a suit of power armor here" he asks how much I'm willing to pay for it. The young man to my right says "grandpa was looking to get a thousand out of it". I offer him $1,000 up front and he replies no. I say "how about $1,500?" He still refuses to sell. I offer $1,750, he doesn't respond at all. He stands up and one of the teenagers says something to him along the lines of "she would've wanted it to go to somebody who was actually going to use it." The old man gets angry and starts yelling, saying that he "can't do that" to someone. He became very angry with me and chided me incoherently before attempting to spit in my face. I slap his spit right back in his face. He gets very agitated and yells at me to leave his property. I angrily head back to my car, telling him that I'd be back when he was ready to sell. The dream ends.
