Fortnite renovation

I’m playing a Fortnite style game (I’ve never actually played). I parachute through the center of a giant office building, and am injured. When I land, a woman offers me a piece of glass to use as a mirror. Knowing I won’t win, I explore. One row-house looks damaged by fire. The staircase is mostly gone. Poking my head inside, I see a man. He helps me in. He has renovated the house over months, rigging it for electricity and plumbing, and decorating. There is a group of four women having a get together in the living room. He’s excited about raising a family, but is worried about strangers finding it, since he’s still in a video game. I take a tour and wish him and his family the best of luck.
