Battle on a cruise but Joe put a ring on my finger

My children were young and I think we couldn’t find our way around the boat. There were hostile men with guns and Joe was trying to manage it. The kids were friends with the bad guys. I was always to be with Joe alone with him. He would stay away but he finally told me get ready and wear your coral gown. Though I don’t own one he said he loved it on me. I came out of a room and buy the doorway there was a fancy box on the floor. He was kneeling down and I opened it. It was a beautiful gold ring with rectangular sides that opened or closed with my favorite stone opals. He seemed distracted when he put it on my finger. After that the bad guys had me and Gabriella hostage and one guy had a gun. I managed to get it but I was shacking. He went near Gabriella so I tried to shoot him but it wasn’t loaded. We never were able to be alone
