This dream started off where I was standing in a big line with my brother and a bunch of other people I don't know know. We were all getting assigned characters in this big larping thing we were doing. My character was a middle school girl who didn't have much importance in the story (maybe that's how I see myself IRL?). While we were larping, I was getting frustrated with these two girls who tried to bend the story their way and wouldn't let anyone else change anything. Soon I got up and just ran home. At home I was in my room when my dad walked in. "Sorry it's a little messy," I said. My dad was angry for some reason and he started yelling at me and telling me when my room got too messy that I should just bring a bunch of garbage bags up there and throw everything away. Then he started to say something like "if I told my wife this bla bla bla" and then we were both really quiet. Finally I said quietly but angrily "you don't have a wife" (my parents were divorced this year). My dad started to get defensive. He said "oh well sometimes I accidentally still call her that... Whatever!" He left the room. Later in the dream, somehow I ended up in Oregon (where I used to live) with my old best friend. We were also with a bunch of her new friends that she made since I moved so I didn't know any of them. It was thanksgiving and we had all just finished eating dinner. We started to head out to go black Friday shopping. We went to a whole bunch of different places but everything just felt weird the whole time. My best friend just seemed distant from me. She would laugh and talk with her new friends while I was just behind them. Everytime I said something, everyone just did kind of an awkward laugh. (Maybe this is part of my fears? That since I moved away my best friend will move on and be distant from me?)
