Tower above water

I was in a room in a high tower. There were no lights inside, the lighting came from many windows around the room. It was daylight outside and you could see amber colored mountains right outside the windows. Two girls were in the room and I told them to look outside at the lake below. The window right in front of me was open. They leaned over and looked outside, there was a blue lake of water right below us, way down hundreds of feet. I was slightly worried about them falling out of the window. I told them there was a radio station beneath us where a man had been transmitting a radio show for a very long time.
