Sat at a table in a dark room. Square table. Three of us on one side, and person opposite. David Walliams is sat between me and another guy. He has comic teeth. We are making calls on behalf of the Labour party and Walliams is new. My colleague is nervous to tell David as if he is ashamed. So I courageously and openly declare how proud I am to raise funds for Labour, and how much of a Corbyn fan I am. Almost like I am laying down a gauntlet, and no one had better challenge that. I get the impression Walliams isn't a Corbyn supporter, which dissapoints me, but doesn't surprise me.
