escaping the cultist life thanks to zombies

I was in a building with a large group of people including my mother. we were in a vacation I guess, and it was our hotel. a zombie apocalypse had started and our leader (a man, idk his face) gave us instructions on how to escape and return to our community. my mother went away before me, and when I was one of the only ones rest I realized that our leader actually saved just a few and left the other (us too) to die. the people around me searched a way to escape somewhere else, but I had to find my mother, so I went searching for her with a man of my group.
