Overslept and Missed Work

I was sleeping over a friend's house. I had work the next morning from 10-2. I set an alarm. I woke up the next morning and when I looked at the clock it was after 2 PM. In real life I have mysteriously insanely overslept like this twice so far and my boss is furious, he said if it happens again I'm fired. I see so many missed calls from him. In my email I even had a formal letter from him in which he explained how unprofessional, irresponsible, etc. I am, and how he thought I would be a great employee and he was wrong. I called him to apologize. He was still very mad. He wanted me to recount to him the case we worked on yesterday and the main points of the deposition. For some reason I was having a very hard time remembering. I couldn't even remember the name of the case. I was driving during the call and told him I wanted to pull over so I could concentrate better. He hung up so I could pull over. Then my friend called me and I answered because she gets mad when I don't pick up. She started talking about all kinds of things. I wanted to tell her I had to go but couldn't get a word in. I looked at the time and it had been 11 minutes!!! I screamed "FUCK! I gotta go!!!!" and hung up on her. I called my boss back and recounted more of the case to him.
