Another planet

Not so much that I can remember, but the gist of it is that, mankind are led to believe that there's a planet that we already discovered and are able to go to(through a warp portal).. is evil. Stories are being told that our enemies came from that planet. A red planet. Robotic futuristic creatures and such. Anyway, I went too close to the portal and didn't expect that it'll pull me in. And so I was warped to this planet that has never been seen by the public. Once there, first thing I saw is that, I was kinda flying, but not in control. I was sent flying to this large circular gold ring with something in it at the centre which later on.. kinda make my body or soul(?) split like water into 4 pieces and then all the pieces joined back together and I'm all in one piece. I assume that ring is a cleansing mechanism or something that allows me to adapt to that place. I was still not in control of my 'flight', but I was being taken for a flight with a top view of the planet, and what did I saw? It's not a red planet!! Blue skies with a hint of yellow. There are humans too!! there are cars, road and traffics. It's a whole civilisation. It's the same like earth, but more advance (they have establish interplanetary communication). Because there are other species there too but they are not hostile (I remember a group of cute small jelly-like creature, playing with balloons ^_^) and flying vehicle is the norm as well. I wanted to explore more. However that's where the dream ends
