late for work

Im running late for work, i try to text my boss to tell i'll be late, but my phone isn't working properly. I get so frustrated with it that a break it in half. My boss shows up at my house and comes in and starts doing things like she lives there also. I tell her that my phone is broken, but then it starts working even though it's in two separate pieces. She says thats fine and goes on with what she's doing, i think she's making food. I wake up to my alarm.
