I was a ballet dancer who had a couple performances in the same day with different groups of kids. I was the only older dancer, like late teens or early twenties, which was why I was in multiple performances since there were roles they needed me for. I was like an older sister to the younger kids and they all thought I was so cool and would ask me for advice and everything it was very sweet. One performance was already done and I was getting ready for the next. I was tired and a little sore so I spent extra time stretching and was a bit behind getting dressed. In a panic I realized I didn’t have any tights and I only had a few minutes before I needed to go on. Frantically I go ask the instructor if she happens to have any extra and she says she has some in her office. She gives me her keys and I dash off. Her office is on the second floor down this dark hallway. For whatever reason I couldn’t, or didn’t want to, turn on the lights so it was really dim with just the light of moonlight through a far window. I’m trying to calm myself and unlock the door, then started digging around the office since she didn’t tell me where the tights were. Someone came to help and showed me they were in a file cabinet. I thanked them profusely then quickly changed in a corner. I hurried back out into the dark hallway to make my way back. For whatever reason, though, a section of the hallway was just…gone. Not seeing it, I stepped right off a cliff and fell to the first floor, breaking both my legs. I screamed in shock and agony and woke myself up in a panic.
