Long dream about the lost love of my life. Her name starts with a K, so I'll use that for short. Somehow, I came across her somewhere, and I convinced her to come home. It was late at night, and she wound up sleeping on the couch. In the back of my mind, I remember she is married, but I'm so in love with her that it doesn't matter. Also, in the back of my mind I remember that she left me for this guy because of money and that I found out about the affair. The next morning, we woke up to 2 Dealers for a poker game setting up, as I am a local professional poker player, and they come way too early. My mother and sister show up, and in the backyard there's a weird water park that's mixed with a small roller coaster. K goes before we do, and we realize we get dumped in the water twice while on this weird ride. K gets off before us, and walks towards the door alone and obviously uncomfortable. She waits outside for me for a moment, and impatiently goes inside another door. I finally get off the ride before it ends, and get the courage to go after her, leaving my family behind. Once inside, she is in a public cafeteria, and sitting on the floor across the room in the middle of other girls. While in conversation, I walk over to her, testing my lack of confidence, and put my hands on her shoulders which finally gets her attention. She complains about how early the dealer's came, and how late we stayed up the night before. I agreed with her, and then some guys standing behind me start asking about poker games and asking if I'm really this good and how much they need to play with. K walks to the other side of the cafeteria to talk to a black guy, but the conversation doesn't seem intimate. My jealousy starts kicking in, and I quit listening to the guy talking to me. K looks different now, and is rich and more beautiful than I've ever seen her. I observe her as I build up my confidence to go get her, and as soon as I begin to go...I see her wedding ring. It wasn't on before, and I definitely looked for it. It shines, and is one of the nicest rings I've ever seen. In fact, it's perfect. My feet move no more, but my heart outweighs my brain and I go after her. 2 people try to interrupt my path to talk, and I blatantly ignore them. This was my one last chance to get the love of my life back, and I woke up right before I get to her. Now I'm in bed awake, looking out the large windows of my beautiful loft as the subtle rain trickles down them. I think about when we become elderly, and our spouses have deceased. Then, and only then, we will be together. Now my entire day is ruined as none of this story happened.
