I’m at the mouth of a small river near the sea. There are a couple of boys say 12 years old, climbing around On the stones at the mouth of the river. I see a fish that is obviously in trouble and encourage the boys to jump in and grab it. They haven’t been fishing before I need a bit of encouragement. The fish is in trouble because it has bitten off more than it can chew. It seems to be a wood eating fish and has a large log stuck in its mouth. I explain to them how to kill it and clean it for eating.
