My family and I decided to go on some sort of vacation, or escape to a small town in the mountains. It was quaint, with close-knit, colorful houses framed in white. At the center of town was a decently sized pond, but we’ll get to that later. My parents and I went along with a tour guide, who had us sit in a fortified coach of sorts when we went further into the mountains. We were apparently going to see wolves and bears. And wolves we did see! They were, oddly, scattered all around, sometimes feasting on the numerous rotting, bloody carcasses. Now that I’m awake, I find their behavior in the dream to be quite un-wolflike, but I guess then it was normal. As we drove along a fresh trail, some of the wolves glowered at us with glowing golden eyes. Now, I love wolves, but these ones creeped me out. When the tour guide got a distance away from them and decided we get out of the protective coach, I was not exactly happy. Neither was my mom. I can’t remember how my brother or dad reacted (in real life, I can’t imagine people being uncomfortable and a guide still going through with it... but this isn’t real life! It’s another weird dream.). The five of us must have been massively stupid, or maybe it was just me. Because dream time skipped and suddenly I found myself lost and stuck in a thorny ditch. Thankfully I worked my way out and started heading in the direction I thought the town was. I swear to you, this world was my Minecraft world. Dumb, I know. But it was literally the exact same in terms of how the world appeared, the types of trees around and even water sources. So anyways, I recognized some roofs of the townhouses and run back to them. My family and the tour guide are already back, and they don’t seem to care much about my return. Maybe they weren’t stupid. Maybe they got rid of me on purpose! So a little later, my brother and I decide to go fishing in the town’s lake. I got my fishing rod and stood out on one of the docks. It’s rather thin and rickety, but I didn’t care. As soon as I cast my rod, and I mean INSTANTLY, I see a huge shape under the water and a massive turtle snaps down my rod and pulls me into the water. Again, in real life, this wouldn’t happen. And in real life, I love turtles (admittedly, I wouldn’t in a situation like this). But in this dream, as the turtle was still set on me, I was TERRIFIED. I remember paddling back to shore, seeing the shadow of this behemoth snapping turtle in the depths below me, and being so scared. Thankfully I dragged myself out of the water and closed my eyes on the shore... Only to wake up in my bedroom. Rise and shine.
