Fancy Party

I was at a very fancy party with my family, we all walk in and immediately my brother, sister, and father split up with us to go check something else out, then walk in the opposite direction as us. My mom has found one of her friends and we've all decided to go on the wine tour, but when we get there it's closed. so we decide to split up so my mom can go talk to her friend, as I'm walking downstairs i see a news reporter and his camera man, who promptly points his camera at me as the reporter asks "do you want to be on TV?" I was startled and jumped, which made the guests around me laugh then i fast walked away to the garage, the garage was an underdoor parking garage, but it was still carpeted pastel blue like all the other floors. There was one other person, and someone holding a dog by it's leash was fast walkimg by, right up to its throat. I asked him what he was doing and he turned ro me, then the person beside me said "run! He's a 'valeur'! I corrected him, saying "its actually' valé', "and what does that have to do with him having a dog?" I asked as he ren towarss the stairs and we ran up. A feeling of dread came over me, then i woke up.
