strange childhood activities dream

Date: 1/24/2020

took a nap for this one. some other stuff happened first but i was in a house. a japanese lady lived there and i for some reason REALLY wanted to pray at the little shrine in there. however since i’m white she assumed she had to show me how to do the whole shinto procedure (and i get it) and i followed along and in the dream i was having trouble remembering so it was fine. then she leaves and i try to replicate it and for some reason i just can’t remember what to do, probably because the procedure she showed me wasn’t how it is in real life?? so i’m just standing there awkwardly doing stuff. part of the procedure involved taking a strawberry, touching it to this upside down crystal bowl, putting it in some liquid in another bowl, and then eating it?? it tasted a lot like some kind of sour candy that was good so i enjoyed that i guess. later on i’m still tying to do the ritual and some stuff i dont remember happens and all of a sudden her house is gone and all that’s there is a few pieces of furniture so i leave. i’m walking along and i pass by this little garden/nature installation and it has this sick fountain that goes down a steep hill with a few steps full of water down to a pond and it was so cool i decided to climb down into it to get to the pond. it was hot out in the dream so i didn’t mind getting kind of wet. so i crawl all the way down the steps and stare at the water for a second then turn around and all of a sudden the nature looks more and more like the inside of a house and i realize this wasn’t a fountain, it was an interior/exterior water installation in someone’s house so i start to leave. i see a blurry image of a woman and a kid walking towards me through some windows (on the inside?) so i start to get out faster. i get through the front door and then sit on the porch railing and just chill for a second. they leave me alone after that. then i move on and start walking again after that. i run around and jump and stuff along the way and my brain justifies it by saying “you’re a kid so run and jump around” and it felt nice so i did???
