Creepy NyQuil Induced Dream: “The Sentient Snow Cone”

Several hours after I took some NyQuil for a sore throat, I had an intense dream. I dreamt I’m a teenage boy in an isolated room. (In waking life I’m a full grown woman). A group of scientists concocted a genetically modified strawberry snow cone and offered it to me. The outer shell tastes like crunchy carmel while the inside tasted like berries. I grew cautious when I realize there was a grey alien monster growing inside the snow cone. I was disgusted, but I continued to enjoy the cone. Eventually, the cold dessert turns into spaghetti and jelly beans and the creature inside is revealed to be an abomination with bat wings. I watch from a distance as the boy freaks out. The scientists eventually drag him away from the room and the remains of the cone. I discover later on that the snow cone had turned the kid into a peacock. This dream belongs in a horror film.
