Alex and the Bear

So I went over to Alex’s house for the first time and he had a really cool giant apartment that took up the entire top floor of this building. He had this too secret way of getting into his bedroom (you had to do something weird with the DVD player and it unlocked the door) and only his super weird roommate knew how to open it (think that girl from Scott Pilgrim mixed with a weird horse girl from high school) So the roommate opens the door for me and it’s all dark and Alex is asleep. I lay with him for a little while and then get up and look at his weird nerd shit Next thing I know it alex is gone and I’m there alone with my brothers and the weird roommates. There is more than one but I only ever meet one. The horse/Scott pilgrim girl blocks the door to her bedroom and slams it shut when anyone tries to look into the bedroom Time skip // Alex comes home and we go outside. There’s a big gate we have to walk through to get out of the apartment. We walk around the building and talk and as we’re walking back I see something small and black “Is....is that a bear?” I ask. Alex’s eyes get wide and he runs for the door. The bear is a baby so we know the mama will be back. I try to follow him but I get stuck on the gate. Alex made it inside and I started screaming and clinging up the side of the gate. The mama was coming and she was big. I was sobbing in fear at the top of this tall gate when alex came back with a crossbow. He shot the bear once and it didn’t deter her. He Shot at her again and she backed off but didn’t leave. I took the opportunity to unhook myself from the gate and run into the apartment. I held onto him and sobbed for who knows how long and told him I owed him my life. He told me he knew and held me until I stopped crying. The Ehd
