Mean king

The first dream I had was a repetitive dream kind of like groundhog day and each time I had to figure out how to not get killed. It was in a world where a king ruled. It was a long process to see the king but I had to legally, like he summoned me or something. I think from the beginning he planned on killing me no matter what. I don't think he kept that secret either. It's like every time I went to see him I knew I was going to die. He had mythical creatures as his servants and the palace he lived in was kind of a mixture between a modern day skyscraper because of all the floors, but also an old fashioned castle. Anyway, in the final room I got to I had to let them scan my id badge or at least look at it. And then there was this big old square hole in the floor, sort of like an empty pool but the floor and walls were made of stone. The king, sitting outside the pool and raised up on his throne, would ask me questions and no matter what, every time without fail, he would order water or some kind of liquid to fill up the pool and then I would die. The next day I would come back and try again, until the dream ended.
