Seeing crush in park

I was walking in a park with my family (grandparents, aunt & cousins) and by the side of the path there was a phone charging stall (like you get at festivals.) I noticed that my crush was behind the counter at the stall. I didn't need to charge my phone but I went over anyway and said hi to my crush. We made small talk and I wanted to ask them out but I felt awkward because my family were with me. Later, I was in a supermarket talking to some random guy (I think he was my friend but I didn't recognise him) about my crush. He gave me some really unhelpful advice (like "just talk to her" or something) and I walked away. I was about to leave but then I remembered that my crush sometimes came to this supermarket. I wanted to hang around in case I saw them, but didn't want to seem like a stalker...
