Rake taken away

Was looking at an apartment (w/roommates). Was night, we were outside, the girl was nice, alternative. Then i saw leaves in the driveway and began to rake them to the edge of driveway. I was enjoying myself. Landlord came by (Asian man), said what are you doing, was cold, took the rake from me. Then I was inside the apartment and I said you you think this is cute and it was this weird loveseat possibly made of cardboard.
