My waterproof case gets water in it.

I was going canoeing or something down this east coast creek that had a lot of undergrowth on the sides. I remember I had my phone on me in a water proof case but it wasnt sealed all the way and as we went down the river, my mom sister and I, we found something that I wanted to take a picture of and I pulled out my phone and the case was full of water. That was what I was afraid of. I want to add that there werent any actually canoes that ai remember it was just us going down the river. We found this cave/alcove with another water proof case and I took my phoneout and put it in that. Thats All I remember.
