Talking to a neighbor through a vent

So I don't know if it's because I've been having a cockroach problem in real life, but in my dream there is a freaking parade of different insects in my kitchen that I am frantically trying to sweep up with a broom and dust pan. Then I hear a human voice, coming from the ground, it sounds like a younger females voice. I was freaked out and asked if she was one of the bugs, but then notice that there is a vent right below one of the cupboards. We start having this intense conversation about spirituality while I'm continuing to try and get rid of all these bugs in my kitchen.
