“Antique Land” prehistoric times

I was watching a documentary about prehistoric times, and my dad came in and asked what I was watching. I replied with “something about the Jurassic period”. But the documentary showed that the first period of life on earth was called “Antique land”. It showed an open grass field with the creatures of Antique Land. There were these white spoon shaped things with faces. Some of the other creatures looked very similar to humans, just a bit smaller. They were all running around the field. I remember thinking I wanted to go back in time to Antique Land. Then I was sitting at my grandfather’s kitchen table. My papa urged me to go outside, and asked “do you need a consequence for not going outside?”. I don’t remember how I answered.
