Dog and tiger movie?

This dream kind of morphed from me experiencing these things myself to me just watching them happen in a movie Anyways the main character in the movie was (me?) a girl who was running away from home and looking for someone in a specific village she’d been told to find The person she found apparently wanted to kill her and she was like “ugh, so quick to kill, just like everyone else in her family” The main character locked herself in a room and found a little lab puppy in there. Later I found out its name was Marvin. The MC snuck out the room she’d locked herself away in and ran to another spot (the village was made of tents and small wooden structures) at some point she and the woman trying to kill her made up and the story changed The main character was instructed to walk through the nearby jungle for some reason with the puppy She walked through the jungle with the puppy, and at some point the puppy changed into an adult dog Toward the end of the journey, they encountered a tiger She was near the end of the jungle, and was like “come on Marvin, hurry up, let’s go come on come on” as they briskly walked towards the light shining through the trees, indicating the end of the jungle, while the tiger stalked them from behind The woman was waiting at the end of the jungle and the girl handed her the puppy and told her to get out of there to keep it safe from the tiger The girl made her way down a rocky hill to the beach that the village was near, and turned back and faced the top of the hill, where the tiger was standing, growling loudly, at the edge of the jungle, about to make its way down She took handfuls of rocks and kept throwing them in the tiger’s direction, while yelling The tiger recoiled a bit and stopped The girl, sure the tiger would still follow, then ran into the village and, mirroring the beginning of the movie, ran into the building she originally hid from the woman in, and sure enough, the puppy was waiting in there to greet her and that was the end of the movie (But remember throughout it, it went back and forth from being “main character” to me, despite how I’ve written it out) On the way home from the movie, my mom said she didnt like the movie, and that she was expecting a marley and me type situation I just said “..........I liked it”
