Sought out old work friend

In my dream, I purposely sought out a friend I worked with 40 years ago. I was hired at a job where Chris Ann worked. I couldn’t believe my luck in finding her. She was nice to me but had no idea who I was. We worked with a lot of people around, so I kept this info to myself until near the end of my dream. She had to get up and use the bathroom. She wanted to hear what I had to say but her urgency also seemed to be a concern. She grabbed a small bag which may have contained feminine products. I knew this job wouldn’t last long, but took it because of the great odds of seeing my friend again. I started to tell her we worked together 40 years ago. I was a little hurt when she mentioned a different person’s name. Then I reminded her we got together at some point when her daughter was about 8 years old. I named the place we both worked. She had to use the restroom. She walked out to take a shortcut and I followed her. We were literally out on a limb, and she missed a step. This was an internal circular ledge that was fairly high. I quickly grabbed the top of her two-piece brown pajama set as she dangled momentarily until I pulled her back up to the ledge. We walked back to the office to take the longer way to the bathroom. I mentioned either the building name or the company name where we worked and she finally understood who I am. And I reminded her that it took a week after our reunion back then to get back in touch. I was so happy to see her again. Unfortunately, in real life, she had passed away about 3 years ago.
