Alex's habit

Alex is on the family room with me doing coke off the seat of the office chair. My dad is on the couch and my mom is here to. She loudly snorts it and my dad looks over and asks if she has a cold. I look at her and go please Alex... And my mom gives me a look for scolding her and goes "let her be." I feel like it's absurd.
