I was leaving my mom’s house by myself to go to school. She sent me out over an hour before the bus was supposed to come (which was apparently normal), so I was getting tired of waiting out in the weather for so long. I walked on the sidewalk into a more forest-y part of the (not so realistic) area next to her house, and wandered off the sidewalk into some lush, dewy bushes. I pushed through them and found a dreary, old, abandoned-looking house and shed shrouded in fog, so I walked through the unkempt grass towards it. I got to the shed, which was just a small garage-like building and stood at the concrete slab driveway in front of it and peered inside to find a dusty mess of boxes, crates, and old furniture such as an old-fashioned dresser/nightstand-y thing with a circular mirror on top—the type that’s made out of wood with weird patterns around the part that holds the mirror. There was also a dusty, flat sofa. I walked in through the big open garage doors, relatively uncaring of the potential dangers because it’s a dream. I made my way to the sofa that was directly in front of me, ignoring the faint creaks of the (for some reason) wood floorboards and sat down in front of the couch, leaning against it. I noticed an open door to my right, which seemed to leads to the rest of the house. At first glance, it seemed just in the same state of disrepair as the garage. I sat there for some time on my phone with my headphones on before it was time to wander back over to the bus to be picked up. Timeskipping to the next day, because that’s dream logic, it was another randomly dreary morning and my mom was shoving my sibling and I put the door. I probably grumbled in dismay before begrudgingly guiding my sibling to the house I discovered the day before. We made it there and it appeared just about the same as before. I, once again, sat down in front of the couch and my sibling elsewhere in the room. We didn’t make any noise and probably just proceeded with our phones. Later on, my tall, green-haired friend—Tom—somehow popped into the scene, finding himself in the garage as well. I think he stood towards a corner of the garage at some clean, modern, wooden countertops. Tom was leaning on them, but as a tall person, he somehow didn’t hit his head on the matching cupboards above. It was getting to that point where it was about time to leave to head off to school when an old man crept up through the main part of the house into the garage. He looked down at me, and me up at him from my spot on the floor. I internally grimaced, but I didn’t do anything other than stand up and hurriedly try to usher my sibling and Tom out of the house that was apparently the old man’s. Somehow, the scene became much less dreary, and was instead sunny. I speed walked out of the garage as I side-eyes the old man, my sibling and Tom following suit. We made it through the bushes, but the old man had followed us. I heard him rustling through and half whispered and half snapped at Tom in a cry why he didn’t tell the creepy man to basically fuck off. I think I saw my friend look at me with a hint of disappointment before I felt a big hand grab my ankle, so I whipped around and found the creepy old man’s hand preventing me from running away. I struggled for a moment, but he was only able to get up and secure a better grip of me, this time at my wrist. He stared at me with blank eyes and pulled the still-struggling me closer, probably to get a better look at my face. This is all I remember, so Tom and my sibling were probably still there, dumbfounded at watching me struggle lmfao. Big sad.
