A nasty argument during my birthday party

Was celebrating my birthday with my family and part of my extended family, from my auntie's husband side that I kinda hate at worst and don't care about at best. Don't know what happened but one of them threw a cake her mother made, saying it didn't matter because it was horrendous, I tried to object that it was ok, I didn't care for the cake but didn't want for the mother to be upset, she said it was ok and then left. After a while, my uncle came at me telling that I was an ungrateful woman for disrespecting his sister, and I said actually it was your niece to throw the cake out, not me, but by that point everyone was shouting and I kept saying, partly to myself and partly to them something like, but who care about you, and why did I consent to have those people at my party? I woke up at 5.30 and couldn't get back to sleep almost until the alarm went off at 7.
