It was a dark afternoon and I was home in front of my laptop as always. The house looked normal except for the fact that from my 2 o'clock and about 8 feet away, the sofa in front of the tv in the living room was replaced by armchairs. Apparently, we were having our Government class with our teacher presenting her powepoint on the tv and five of my classmates were seating on the armchairs. After a few minutes of listening, the dark surroundings made me feel relaxed and made me lose interest of the subject. I browsed twitter on my laptop and often switched to fb or yt to view new contents. The class was scheduled for an hour and a half and I lost track of time. The teacher suddenly announced a short quiz before dismissing the class. She handed out papers to which my classmates immediately turned their attention to. When I received the paper and read the questions I knew I was going to fail. After 3 minutes of stalling, I raised my hand to get the teacher's attention. We were whispering at this point and I smiled sheepishly and asked if she could give me a quick rundown of the lecture she gave earlier since I got sidetracked. She gave a short laugh and told me that it wasn't her problem. She walked away with an irritated smile while shaking her head in disappointment. Now with only 5 minutes away before passing the paper, the teacher came back to my side, leaned close to me, and started whispering in my ear. She was whispering important points from the lecture that were relevant to the quiz. That unexpected event made me nervous and somehow a bit turned on (lol). I kept looking at my classmates in case they see what was happening, but they were all focused on the quiz. With the whispering happening, I was only able to catch on a few things and write down answers before passing my paper as the time ran out. The next day, I got my quiz back and I only scored 3 out of 10.
