therapy and my ex

I was just walking around and I ended up in a therapist waiting room and it was gonna be like a therapy session and I was waiting. so I sit down and I look around and I see Javier (my ex) and we make eye contact. So naturally I smile bc that's what I always do when I see someone I know. and he scoffs and sighs and says oh noo, then I asked him why he was being so rude and then everyone disappeared when i blinked Any meanings?
